HEALTH-SPA drinking water systems are supplied with all necessary components approved by The Water Research Council and The Water Advisory By-laws Association.
This 5" purification system incorporates three individual filters resulting in high quality water coveniently delivered into a third tap.
The first stage is a dirt & sediment pre-filter, this is highly efficient at removing all particulate matter such as rust, sand, silt and unseen sludge, etc.
The second stage is a unique Carbon Briquette Cartridge (CBC) which is accepted in the industry as the ultimate in carbon filtration. This is made from powdered activated carbon compressed into a solid block comprising of 1. 1 million square feet surface area! Although solid - the carbon block retains an immense amount of internal channels to allow sufficient flow. So effective is the CBC that apart from the very high percentage of chlorine removal it will also drastically reduce volatile organic chemicals VOC'S) such as herbicides and pesticides.
The third stage is the XL500 cartridge including 20% polyphosphate to inhibit the effects of scale and also reduce the large number of heavy metals including lead, copper, aluminium, zinc and iron etc. As well as fluoride.
